A Deerfield resident founded a student learning system in 2007 called School Town, LLC which provides an online application where students, teachers and other groups can learn, grow and connect.
School Town has launched a "student learning system" aimed at encouraging self-directed study and building "lifelong" skills in students, including time management and effective social networking.
School Town's Web site, www.schooltown.net, was relaunched today with a new design and more details about School Town's suite of online collaboration tools.
